You can cast this spell only if your opponent has more shields than you do.
Your opponent chooses one of his shields for each shield you have. He puts the rest of his shields into his hand. (He can use the "shield trigger" abilities of those shields.)

Overall Rating: 9.5/10.0

I’d say this is one of my favourite cards, just that it was given away last Friday… Ah well, it’s from DM-11 again, so I’ll run the risk of getting a Wave Striker deck if I buy 4 boosters!!! (But just look at it. It’s a SHINY (duh!) Foil SUPER RARE SPELL!!!!!)

POWER: No power. It is a spell! So let’s look at its cost…

MANA: For such an effect, 6 is okay. And it pwns Terror Pit and Holy Awe… This is one guy that asks you to look at it, reflect and see whether it is worthy of being a Super Rare.

EFFECT: Once again, COMBOS! This makes Bryzenaga (after all I have it but no Meltdown!) super cool and comboish! Just look at your opponent’s shields going away one by one…
That’s what I call cooooooooooool! Well, it has its drawbacks too…
The limitation of casting only when you have less shields is actually a helpful tip- you can’t cast it if you have more; it does nothing! So what is its drawback?
The drawback is if you put it in a RUSH deck, you will end up making the least out of it! To make the MOST out of it, you have to either combo or wait till you’ve no shields (casting Aurora of Reversal can be good).

RACE/CIVILIZATION: Spells have no race. And by far, spells have their effect suiting their civilization’s focus points. I’ll list them here:

The Good: Effect rocks!
The Bad: Possible to backfire
The Ugly: Spell! Used then discards itself!!!!!!!!
Artwork: 10/10 Pojo’s says it is “one of the most beautiful and visually inspirational”.
Limited: 9/10
It can backfire but is still good!
Constructed: 10/10
With the right combos, you can make it a trump card, bring it out at the right time, and WIN!

EDIT: I have more advice to add in to the article.

Miraculous Meltdown can be used in seamlessly lots of combos, and has to be tweaked in the combo and deck specially and carefully to get the best out of it. Examples include using Aurora of Reversal to get you additional mana to cast Meltdown, and using Meltdown as a counter to a Cosmic-Darted Tyranno Link Nova. It can be extremely useful in Dragon decks, Wave Striker decks and Control decks.
